Physical Science Curriculum

This curriculum focuses on the following sections of Physical Science: • Dynamics - Motion- Force- Gravity• Magnetism• Light• Heat- Heat- Energy• Sound• Electricity, and• Simple MachinesFor those teachers who have felt the need to add this part of the science curriculum but have been hesitant to do so because they felt they lacked the experience or were intimidated with the ordering of supplies and materials, your wait is over. All the nomenclature cards are designed in full color to capture the student's attention and spark their imagination. This in turn leads them to the research cards which provide them with ample choices and opportunities to conduct research on subjects that will further build their knowledge base. Help them make the connection from concrete observations to the abstract understanding of "why" things happen the way they do, with the help of our experiment cards. These cards are designed to act as stepping stones to initiate discussions and further explorations through the implementation of cross disciplinary curriculum. A complete list of materials is included and they are easily obtainable from any hardware or electronics store. Meets NSTA standards for elementary school.
